Lent

weight: 121 lbs.
breakfast: 2 cups coffee with 2 tbsp. non-dairy creamer 2 packets of Splenda
1/2 c. oatmeal with 1/4 c. soymilk, 1 serving dried blueberries, 6 oz. oj.

Yoga/Fitness
I plan to get some sort of exercise today, either yoga, riding my bike, or a little of both.

Other Information
Lent is coming up. I was considering what I wanted to give up for Lent (although sometimes I think we should think consider GIVING something for lent, like volunteering time, or doing something positive). I have come up with it.

I have decided to speak only positively about others and situations. Sometimes at work, I find myself discussing policies of our school in a negative light. I am aware that the people I am talking to are people who like to gossip and who receive pleasure in other's misfortunes and are not people who are trustworthy. I have discovered there seem to be more people out there who would talk sweetly to your face, but would just as easily stab you in the back or feel happy when you struggle.

I would like to raise myself above this. Not in the sense that I want to be better than another. I would like to attempt this in a humble manner, realizing that those who behave this way probably have some reason for it and have not come to an understanding of how their negative thinking can affect their lives.

Sometimes negative thoughts will come into my mind, but I resolve not to share those out loud during Lent and hopefully after. After all, if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all :)

weight?
breakfast: coffee with splenda and 1 tbsp. non-dairy creamer, breakfast sandwich from Ikea (english muffin with sausage, egg, cheese)
lunch: organic bean burrito, 12 oz. oj
afternoon: 1 piece bread with Nutella
I plan to eat something small for dinner and possibly have a drink.

Yoga
No yoga today. I have been stretching my back, which is a little achy today. Yoga might have been helpful, but I was busy getting the car serviced and sealing the bathroom floor. Hopefully I can get some kind of a workout in tomorrow.

Other Information
While waiting for the car, Amel and I went to Ikea and Barne's & Noble. I was thinking about different books I would like to read, while browsing the book store:
Jane Austin novels (I have never read one!)
classics (haven't read many of these either)
biographies
books about the founders of America
Barak Obama's memoir

Ok Day

weight: I haven't really wanted to get on the scale this week
breakfast: FiberOne granola bar, coffee with 2 packets Splenda, 1 tbsp non-dairy creamer
lunch: Michelina's frozen spaghetti with marina sauce, 1 serving Red Vines licorice, 10 Goldfish crackers
dinner: 3 pieces chicken alfredo pizza, romaine lettuce with caesar dressing, large glass of oj

My calorie intake would have been better had I not had the licorice and if I had stopped at 2 pizzas of pizza. It was thin crust pizza at least :) I am proud of myself that I resisted the carrot cake at the staff meeting this afternoon.

Yoga
My ankle/lower leg has become more swollen and is achy. I'm not sure if this has happened because I started riding my bike or because I am trying to get to doing yoga regularly. I Did yoga Monday and Tuesday and have decided to make tonight a lazy night. Lost is about to come on.
